Homesick when he played at Sankey Leisure, Bob Williams was the surprise deadline-day package brought in by dsw fc on loan at the end of the April 2005.
The deal for the highly rated
player includes the option for dsw fc to make the move
permanent for a fee of £2.85 in the summer.
Williams is deemed to be a talented playmaker, a product of
Sankey's famed youth academy — remember Wattsy.
In fifteen years at Sankey he made 600 league appearances,
scoring 330 goals.
