At 31-years old, Philip Price is certainly one for the present and the future — a typical dsw fc signing.
Price had to wait for his dsw fc debut as he was selected by David Lloyd Leisure as one of three over-weight players in their squad that competed in the “Lose a Stone” challenge.
When he eventually did take to the field in a DSW jersey a daunting pre-season fixture at MSIF, the man was a revelation; stroking the ball about with confidence and tackling with aplomb.
He did well scoring in the cauldron of MSIF's home stadium before wishing he could be withdrawn midway through the second half because of a lack of match fitness.
