Oh the irony that the first "new"
player finally signed by Dow Schofield Watts during the transfer
fiasco that was the 2004-05 transfer window should be Paul
Richards. It was seven years earlier when a big-money move for
Richards was foiled by Jon Schofield’s absence in
London, with Jon insisting that he was too busy to meet the player.
But it makes some sense to sign a keeper who is light years better than anyone dsw fc currently have.
Having played 350 games in a replica Leicester shirt he proved his worth and collected 5 or 6 assorted baseball caps on various holidays.
