Sankey seemed quite happy to allow their young but powerful
player, 16-year-old Stuart Williams to come for a trial at
dsw fc as the transfer window edged toward closure. But it
still came as a bit of a surprise that dsw fc decided to sign
the youngster — albeit only on a six-month contract.
However, the dsw fc squad were
definitely low on quality, with the outfield being
particularly exposed by the unplanned loss of
Jon Schofield
to injury and
Mark Watts
to international duty.
But will Stuart Williams actually
get a game and continue his phenomenal scoring record? The
dsw fc management are hoping that his exceptional scoring
record will transfer through to the Broomfield Sixes.
Time alone will tell...
