A game of three thirds.
First third was evenly matched, often scrappy and rushed
but neither team creating clear opportunities. The turn
in fortunes came after 10 minutes when dsw fc made a
substitution with Bob Williams replacing James Dow. Bob
entered the fray through the penalty area and gave away
a penalty 1 - 0 to the Llama's. dsw fc had escaped
previous punishment when Mark Watts causally strolled
into the area.
The match remained closely
fought until half time with dsw fc still trailing by a
single goal .dsw fc, however were soon undone on two
separate occasions by a lively and feisty Llama's team
who scored twice in quick succession. Then the final
third : strong challenges, some decent football and
good chances created by dsw fc.
The match finished 4 -0.
dsw fc played some good football - but the Great Escape
may just be Great Expectations.
