A full strength dsw fc
were no match for misfits who turned up one short.
Games between these teams
have been close but not tonight as dsw fc took full
advantage of the extra man on the pitch and two
substitutes. dsw fc played great football in the first
half and scored three tremendous early goals: fine long
strikes from David Dodd and then Neil James followed by
the best team goal: an interchange between David Dodd to
Adam Dow to Mark Watts who struck the ball cleanly into
the net. James Dow added a fourth before half time.
dsw fc clearly took their
foot of the pedal in the second half and allowed Inter
the benefit of a consolation goal: Neil having stopped
the original shot with his hand was caught unawares as
was Paul Richards as the free kick was quickly taken.
Otherwise Paul was relatively untroubled throughout the
match.
More goals and misses
followed in the second half. Both David and Mark adding
to their goal tallies. with sharper finishing: Bob and
Adam should have made the scorers list - but they'll
have to wait until next week now.
A good team performance
dsw fc simply used the extra man to clinical effect and
really could have scored ten. dsw fc finish week one on
top of the table! |
