fc? having struggled for 6 weeks the team has picked up
4 points from their last two fixtures including this
valuable point against current Premiership leaders
Nomads.
Nomads who have only
dropped points in one fixture this season must have felt
they had three points in the bag. They passed and probed
for some time before eventually opening the scoring
before half time. dsw fc just stuck manfully to the task
of defending and attacking quickly on the counter
attack. Whilst dsw fc created few chances they stayed in
the game and with 5 minutes remaining Adam Dow rolled
the ball to a charging Neil James who saw his shot crash
into the roof of the net - a truly unstoppable
strike. The goal galvanised the Nomads to even greater
efforts but dsw fc were not to be deprived and they held
out comfortably for a draw - the Great Escape continues.
