dsw fc found their Premier
Division hangover cure courtesy of PSV Hangover.
dsw fc started the game
brightly and the match remained close and competitive,
but PSV took the early advantage which they held for
most of the match. 10 minutes before the end dsw fc made
their only substitution bringing on the fresh legs of
James Dow for Bob Williams who gallantly ran himself
ragged only weeks after surgery.
The substitution brought
the break through a quick roll-in by James Dow found
Gareth Roberts free - he coolly slotted home the
equaliser. The goal seemed to galvanise PSV into
stronger efforts to secure a winner which merely
resulted in more opportunities for dsw fc. Eventually
David Dodd was left one on one with the PSV keeper and
dsw fc were ahead.
dsw fc comfortably held
off PSV to collect their first Premier League points.
