Having arrived during the
match against MSIF Rooney came in from the start
hopefully to provide more creativity and support.
The game started scrappily
with neither side settling during the first five minutes.
In a period of DSW domination when they hogged
nearly 70% of the possession.....they tellingly failed
to score. HBOS however showed little hesitation in front
of goal and soon raced into a two goal lead. Against the
run of play!
The rest was painfully
predictable. DSW again failed to score. HBOS scored
again. Surely James Dow could do something? Finally
with a clever interchange of passes, Dow was left clear
having received the killer pass from Andrew Dodd. The
perfect stage and he slotted home a late consolation
goal.
Perhaps all will be better against the
in-form Chadwicks..... |
