A New
Year , but no apparent change in luck for dsw fc.
Despite playing good
football and going into the second
half dsw fc still left Broomfields without a point.
The game started brightly with
some excellent slick passing and good pressure led to
two very well taken goals from Neil James.
dsw fc
kept playing quality football in the 2nd
half. Early in the second half Neil had a chance "one on
one" to make the score 3 - 0, unfortunately it wasn't
taken and within 5 minutes dsw fc were trailing 3-2 :
including two goals from set pieces, the second cruelly
deflected which agonisingly rolled across the line.
Despite the onslaught Bob Williams was outstanding in
goal. dsw fc continued to create chances but regrettably dsw
fc's late pressure could not be converted into a share
of the points.
The
difference between the two sides was "shot conversion",
dsw fc created more chances but FC Storm scored more
goals.
